Especially if you view Him as an author, programmer, artist, or whomever who holds a more creative occupation.

You're still assuming God's gender and for that you are wrong. God can be whatever gender they want or if the situation calls for it. They are not a hermaphrodite, they are not male, they are not female, they are not agender, they are not non-binary (though this one is sketchy to claim), they are not gender-fluid (this one too). It is not nice to assume the gender of God for they are what they are. They are your creator and they are simply God.

@previous (C)
How do you know of this? Is it not humanity that records and keeps recording the Word of God? We are not perfect. We are prone to human error. We make mistakes. The Word of God as we know it could have been lost the mere second it was written down. So why do you feel so confident that you know the wishes and desires of such an entity? Maybe God does hate gays, but then again, that could have been a misunderstanding or misinterpretation on our end. Why do you claim you're so perfect that you can speak for God?

What is your proof about God can be whatever gender they want or if the situation calls for it.

What is your proof God exists.

@1,860 (C)
Bible is full of rules against gay sex. Catherine knows this is true. Catherine wishes it were not so.

I don't have any evidence and nether do you. That is the whole point of what I am saying. You presume that God hates homosexuals yet the only information you have to go on is a book that has been recorded, translated, interrupted by man. Humans are prone to mistakes so how do you know that is the exact Word of God? God being a genderless entity doesn't have much backing either, but we could concluded that this could be the case since God has no need to reproduce. Nothing is an absolute certainty when it comes to an omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent entity. It's a lot like how science constantly improves their understanding of the universe which is why nothing is ever concrete. So why can't it be this way when it comes to God? How do we know for sure anything about God?

What? I don't believe in God so how is it possible that something that does not exist can hate anything.

NOW for those who go with the fairy tale about God - That book they believe in does forbid unnatural sex.

Let us ignore the first part of your post since that is irrelevant to the conversation. The second part of your post is already addressed. People put too much faith in scripture that has been written down by man who are prone to mistakes. Humanity is not perfect. So what these people believe could be the Word of God may actually just be a misinterpretation on our end with the actual Word of God being lost to us centuries ago. Also, they go to church, but why? If God is omnipresence then shouldn't you be able to have that loving relationship with them without the need to visit a building once a week at the minimum?

People who write fairy tails should be respected. Their view of what occurred is accurate from their point of view. Fiction is just that.

> Also, they go to church
They also go to football games - bars - disneyland - whorehouses - restaurants -

McDonald's sells more than 75 hamburgers every second. 3. McDonald's feeds 68 million people per day.

The modern church today just may be McDonalds Sarcasm

Why are we on the subject of McDonald's now. How is this anything like going to church? People's reasoning for going to both of these places are different and not at all comparable.

Anonymous B replied with this 3 weeks ago, 11 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[^] [v] #1,875

@previous (Catherine !TGirlYJKXM)
People go to church for sanctification. The same for McDonald's.
People leave church praying for stuff they will never get. People leave McDonald's somewhat or completely satisfied.

@previous (B)
Fair enough, but I doubt people go to McDonald's for sanctification. They go there because they want food.
